Join PFLAG South Africa for this year's International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia in Durban on 12 May from 10-12AM!
A moment’s silence will be observed, for those who have lost their lives to hate crimes. This year the theme is “Alliances for Solidarity”. It is a great time for allies to stand up for inclusion and dignity, especially since hate crimes are the result of the homophobia and transphobia in our society. This walk is designed to show that straight people, gay people, gender diverse and transgender people, can all co-exist, with unconditional acceptance of each other. We need to join hands and show our support of all LGBTI people in our families and communities. Together we can make a difference and create a more welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
