About Brandwood Clinic

Brandwood Clinic is founded on the ambition to become the world’s leading non-invasive personal treatment clinic. Their purpose is to improve the lives of as many people as possible by offering an extensive range of treatment options that meet the diverse needs of their clients. Practitioners have wide personal experience with the transformation that can be brought about by Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

Brandwood has performed over 14,000 treatment sessions and trained many of the existing clinicians now practicing globally. The professional approach is based upon a shared history in the redemptive effect of SMP.

A Personal Story

The Brandwood Clinic identity is forged in the unforgettable history of Simon Lane. Simon suffered third degree burns as a two-year-old in the kitchen of his home in Brandwood Road, Birmingham. Following a period of temporary measures including a hairpiece and eventually a transplant, Simon was urged to consider SMP. He was treated by Paul Clark, the two became firm-friends and Simon became an advocate of the treatment studying under Paul to become a top practitioner of this art.

The two are now recognised as pioneers in this restorative treatment and lead a team of practitioners in the delivery of non-invasive treatments at Brandwood Clinic. In 2018 they opened their first clinic outside the UK in Cape Town, taking the practice to a new hemisphere and extending the benefits of SMP into new territories.

Clients travel from all over the world to be treated at Brandwood Clinic because of their passion for helping others, restoring confidence and liberating individuals from self-doubt. Their service cannot be matched elsewhere and is delivered by the best team in the business.

Scalp Micropigmentation, what is it?

Scalp Micropigmentation is the ultimate hair loss solution for both men and women. Proven to be safe and effective, this non-surgical precision technique replicates the look of natural hair follicles and provides clients with the appearance of a closely-shaven scalp. SMP delivers the vision of a full head of hair indefinitely. Whether you are suffering from male or female pattern baldness, alopecia, thinning hair, a skin disorder or scalp scarring from surgery or an accident, Scalp Micropigmentation is the answer.

Baldness cannot be ‘cured’, however it can be camouflaged. Traditional solutions such as hair transplant surgery, temporary concealers and hair systems all offer options to disguise baldness but for an innovative, stylish and permanent hassle-free solution, SMP is the answer.

Benefits to you

Brandwood Clinic’s Micro Pigmentation treatment can restore the natural close-shaved appearance of real hair to a completely bald head or density imprints to a thinning head of hair to give the illusion of fuller coverage.

Provides you with a full and youthful looking head of closely shaven ‘hair’.

Restores a natural-looking hairline on partly or fully bald heads.

Permanently camouflages all forms of alopecia, thinning hair, crown balding or a receding hairline.

Dramatically reduces the visual impact of scarring, birthmarks and burns.

Helps to rebuild your confidence and self-esteem.

How does it work?

SMP is an advanced cosmetic procedure where natural pigments are applied via specialist micro needles at the epidermal level of the scalp to replicate the natural appearance of thousands of hair follicles or strands. The Brandwood Clinic technique is regarded as the best treatment available in the world today, using only natural pigments and state of the art equipment to achieve outstanding natural looking results.

Hair follicles don’t always grow naturally in uniform directions, so our practitioners take the time to fully replicate the distinctions of your specific hair pattern. Different shades of pigment are then used to create the most realistic and natural hairline for you

All the pigments used at Brandwood Clinic are organic, formulated from organic powder, distilled water, witch hazel & alcohol.

They have been fully tested and comply with COE ResAP (2008) 1 standards. As our inks are non-acrylic and organic they allow the body to heal faster and hold the colour better. Scalp Micropigmentation is suitable for all types and stages of hair-loss, on all colours and skin types with treatment undertaken at any age. The follicle recreation process generally takes place over 3 sessions, each lasting approximately 3 to 4 hours – allowing for a gradual build-up of hair density and a natural rejuvenation of hairline to your desired look. SMP is flexible too, allowing you to adapt and freshen your look at any time in the future.

Brandwood Clinic  Cape Town

Cape Town was chosen to be the first Brandwood Clinic outside the UK thanks to the enthusiasm and talent of Kim Jessop and James Hannah. The duo travelled to England in the knowledge that Scalp Micropigmentation could revolutionise hair loss treatments in South Africa. The duo spent over three months in the UK learning the exclusive scalp micropigmentation techniques of Paul Clark and Simon Lane , with James performing a number of procedures on clients in the process.. Returning to Cape Town they found a perfect space in De Waterkant and developed it to the specific standards of Brandwood to match UK health and clinical requirements.

“At Brandwood Clinic we will create a completely natural look for you that can be truly life changing.”
