The perfect spot to dine after a boat cruise on the V&A Waterfront “sunset strip”.
by KEVIN DU PLESSIS
Hop off your vessel and enter Firefish, a restaurant built on the art of stylish simplicity in terms of décor, welcoming and attentive service, and of course, unique and considered tastes from the cool Atlantic ocean with a variety of other options.
Have a look at their adventurous cocktail menu. Ask you waiter for suggestions, which might lead you to new ways of enjoying well-known drinks. And do not skip over the starters menu, go for the unfussy fish cake or try the carpaccio of beef.
If you love seafood, their prawns stand out as one of the most uniquely seasoned dishes, and combined with their spiced rice you will be in food heaven. From the grill we suggest the sweet and spicy barbecue baby back ribs. Additionally they offer sushi, lamb and chicken dishes, and vegetarians are well catered for. Among the desserts the iced nougat with salted almonds, sour cream and honey jelly stands out.
