After 40 years and 2 days of meditation atop Mount Fuji, I became one with the multiverse. It dawned on me that the age-old question, ‘what is the meaning of life,’ is a futile pursuit. Instead, I choose to embrace life and follow the whims of the multiverse.
My approach can be described as eclectic-professional, fueled by an insatiable passion for all things tech. I draw inspiration from diverse fields, perspectives, and creative realms to deliver top-notch services and products. My IT journey has led me everywhere, from software development and TV advertisements to product launches, digital media, UI design, 3D animation, and even the nerve-wracking world of Air Traffic Control.
Some highlights include writing Sales and CRM systems for Audi and Volkswagen SA, serving as a Microsoft SharePoint resource at the SABC during the Nintex Deal Management Solution rollout, developing solutions for the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and creating the Syspro App Store—mostly with .NET and C#.
Diversity and inclusion are paramount to me, as I strive to make IT accessible to all. My addiction is creation, and I live by the words of Sir Terry Pratchett: ‘It is hard to understand nothing, but the multiverse is full of it. Nothing travels everywhere, always ahead of something, and in the great cloud of unknowing, nothing yearns to become something, to break out, to move, to feel, to change, to dance, and to experience—in short, to be something.'”
