Hundreds of people watched in silence as photos of a smiling Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were shown on a large screen at a park in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
People sat in groups on the grass as music, including Shania Twain’s You’re Still The One and Crowded House’s Don’t Dream It’s Over, boomed across Darlinghurst’s Green Park.
Many wore rainbow colours and held pride flags, while others carried candles and brought flowers.
It’s been 10 days since police allege the pair were murdered by Senior Constable Beau Lamarre-Condon.
On Tuesday, two bodies were found at a rural property near Goulburn, with Senior Constable Lamarre-Condon charged with two counts of murder.
