When Michael Mitchell – AKA Rave Twink – came out as gay on Outsports in college, he talked about fear he once had. That is clearly gone.

When Michael Mitchell came out as a gay runner at Lehigh University, he talked about his one-time commitment to himself that no one would ever think he’s gay.
“I promised myself no one, including myself, would ever again think this about me again,” he wrote on Outsports for National Coming Out Day in 2017 about being called “gay” by one of his classmates.
Oh how times have changed.
Mitchell — who calls himself Rave Twink — is now that gayest thing in ultra running, If you don’t know, ultra running is competing in races longer than a marathon — 26.2 miles.
Not only does he like to run long distances, but he loves to party. Recently at the Denver Pride 5k, he posted a video of himself before the race, during and after.
“It’s Saturday morning,” he says into the camera. “I’m running a 5k at 9:30am. Let’s see how fast I can cook this motherf**ker. Let’s go girls.”
And then — again, hours before the race — he downs a shot and a can of beer in about five seconds.
