Men only event to be hosted at ONYX gallery, Parkhurst, Johannesburg.
ONYX Art, Antiques and Interiors situated in Parkhurst will be hosting a gay event for men who love art on Sunday 28 September from 11:30 to 15:00. The event will be closed to the general public and on offer will be some rather risqué art, photography and sculpture, amongst the gallery’s other offerings.
The exhibition will be intimate, as space is limited. The aim is to host similar events on a quarterly basis and will showcase queer art and artists, as well as give patrons and friends the opportunity to get together, enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks, as well as add new art to their collections.
ONYX is a small gallery (possibly the smallest in Johannesburg), but a large private courtyard enlarges the space considerably.
