Fall is upon us and it’s time to hang up your three-inch inseams (or your baggy bro shorts) and make way for the kinky trend currently taking over men’s fashion: leather thigh-high boots.
While the risque footwear has been most closely associated with female pop stars, supermodels, and bridge-and tunnel party girls, lately the hottest hunks in Hollywood can’t stop channeling their inner Tom of Finland fantasy by slipping into Saint Laurent’s smooth calf leather over-the-knee boots.
Back in January, the French fashion house first unveiled the fierce look at its its fall/winter 2025-2026 menswear show at Paris Fashion Week.
Saint Laurent’s out creative director Anthony Vaccarello adorned nearly all of the show’s male models in the thigh-highs foreshadowing the future trend’s impact.
Less than two months later, the masses got their first taste of the leather thigh-highs in the wild thanks to our “cool, slutty daddy” Pedro Pascal.
With a turtleneck and tartan plaid blazer on top, the 50-year-old Latin heartthrob tore up the black carpet at The Last of Us Season 2 premiere rocking the bootylicious lewk over leather pants. He nearly caused a five-alarm fire.
Take us to your preppy dungeon, Sir!
