Top Model guru Jay Manuel stays snatched at 53

For 18 seasons, Manuel served as creative director on the blockbuster runway competition series America’s Next Top Model as he helped shepherd aspiring catwalk queens alongside the incomparable Tyra Banks.

Manuel, like Banks, was known for serving hard critiques and at times controversial advice to the wannabe supermodels.

After nine years of semi-annual seasons, Manuel sashayed away from the reality series in 2012 and went on to start his own beauty line.

In 2020, he released a satirical novel, The Wig, The Bitch & The Meltdown, that centered on the behind-the-scenes drama of a fictional reality model series called “Model Muse.”

Where could he have ever gotten that idea?!

These days, when he’s not turning lewks on the red carpet, the 53-year-old is focused on transforming into a physique model.

Manuel routinely updates his nearly 500,000 followers on his gym gains as he’s morphed into quite the wellness influencer.

With bulging biceps, taut abs and rippling thighs that prove he never skips leg day, Manuel has no reason to be shy about the hard and sweaty work he’s put in to achieve his fitness goals.
