That’s the idea behind LGBTQ Outpost, our new curated marketplace powered by the same team behind Queerty, LGBTQ Nation, GayCities, Outsports, and INTO. Instead of chasing trends or filling pages with endless rainbow products, LGBTQ Outpost focuses on highlighting a wide variety of LGBTQ+ owned brands and allies building inclusive businesses.
Some are small makers working out of home studios, others are globally recognized labels, and what they share are brands that reflect identity, community, and lived experience.
To kick things off, we’ve partnered with more than 35 brands across apparel, coffee, skincare, home goods, and more. Below you’ll meet some of the founders, creatives, and entrepreneurs behind them—and discover what makes each one worth knowing and supporting.
&ndy: activewear built for queer athletes who want to be seen
Pronounced “Andy,” &ndy was founded by former college athlete, Andrew Hall, to solve a simple problem: queer athletes deserve gear that reflects who they are.
Launched in 2023, the label creates technical activewear designed for movement—whether you’re in the gym, on a team, or just trying to keep your workout routine together between brunches. Performance fabrics, sweat management, and thoughtful construction keep things practical.
Ash + Chess: queer artists turning stationery into joyful statements
Artists Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham built Ash + Chess around something delightfully simple: queer people deserve art that actually reflects us.
Their stationery and gift brand has become known for bold retro graphics, sharp humor, and unapologetically queer messaging across greeting cards, stickers, and prints. What started as an indie art project has grown into a widely stocked brand carried in shops around the world.
