Who Is Jorge Cárdenas?

Cárdenas is from Culiacán in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics he finished 11th in the men’s 73kg event, lifting 145kg in the snatch and 175kg in the clean and jerk. Since then, he has picked up a bronze at the 2023 Pan American Games and medals at three straight Pan American Championships.

On 6 August, in the 71kg category in Santo Domingo, he took gold in the snatch with 150kg and silver in the clean and jerk with 167kg. Venezuela’s Reinner Arango beat him to the clean and jerk gold by a single kilogram.

“I’m very happy and very proud to have achieved this result; I had never had a gold medal before,” he told Los Noticieristas after returning home. He said he had a fairly serious injury during his preparation, and he is now aiming for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

When Did He Join OnlyFans?

Cárdenas announced his OnlyFans on 18 June 2023, asking his followers to support him there. At the time, Azteca put the move in the context of Mexican Olympians looking for other ways to fund their careers without scholarships from Mexico’s National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport (Conade).

The account is back in the headlines this month after Instinct and IBTimes UK both covered it. IBTimes UK reported that he uses it to supplement his income while he keeps competing.

For a safe-for-work look, his Instagram is full of podium shots, gym selfies and his lifts from Santo Domingo.
