Description
Along the Grapevine was founded on 3 things: the wine, the estate and the experience. Having lived both inland and on the coast, we realised that most people will never be able to visit an estate or taste their wine. So how then will they be able to try something new while standing in front of the wine section of their local grocer?
As any wine lover will tell you, wine is about personal taste and sensations, some wines we love others might hate, some wines we hate others might love, but from our history, a bottle worth R30 can be more rewarding than a R200 bottle. A bottle with several awards might be awful to you but for real connoisseurs it was a winner.
These are the things that we want to share with the world. You don’t have to be a connoisseur to love wine, and wine is different for every person, we just want you to be able to experience something new, even if it’s in the comfort of your own home.
We embark on this journey to share our experiences, the beauties of an estate and wine that we loved. We hope you will follow along as we travel through the grapevines.
