A group of multi-disciplinary professionals, who perceived the global reaction to Covid, and lockdown in particular, as overwrought and damaging to the point of causing a great tear in the fabric of society, established PANDA (Pandemics Data & Analytics) in April 2020.
As a politically and economically independent organisation, PANDA seeks to develop science-based explanations and test them against international data. Policy recommendations for governments and other institutions can be developed from these. PANDA stands for open science and rational debate, for replacing flawed science with good science and for retrieving liberty and prosperity from the clutches of a dystopian “new normal”.

Nick Hudson 🇿🇦
CHAIRMAN
Nick Hudson is an actuary with broad international experience in finance, who has settled into a career as a private equity investor. He is a man of wide-ranging interests—an avid reader of canonical literature, a classical music aficionado, and an enthusiastic amateur ornithologist. He has been invited to speak on various topics including epistemology, corporate governance, investment management, and more recently, the pandemic.
An abiding concern about the growing influence of postmodern irrationalism, identity politics, social justice constructs, centralism and collectivism led him to recognise quickly in coercive responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, an acute accretion of these looming threats to hard-earned civil rights and freedom, to generativity and the flourishing society. Predicting that they would lead to deep injustices and inequality, he co-founded Pandemics ~ Data & Analytics (PANDA) to refute the many false narratives underpinning them.

Russell remains with PANDA to help equip societies with the knowledge to live courageously and resist such damaging policies in future.

Jonathan Engler 🇬🇧
DOCTOR AND MEDICAL INVESTOR
Jonathan started his career in clinical medicine. After a few years, he moved into the Pharma Industry, designing and running an international clinical trial program, before he and a colleague spotted a gap in the market for a company utilising IT to automate several clinical trial processes. The company they founded was sold, it had 6 offices worldwide and 500 employees. Jonathan then retrained as a lawyer, but having missed the commercial world he invested in several Healthcare start-ups, one of which (involved in cancer diagnostics) he now chairs.
Jonathan joined PANDA in response to disturbing international developments in 2020. He considers the need to promote honest science, open borders and personal autonomy to be vital to the future of humanity.

Carey Haynes 🇿🇦
PANDA – OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Carey comes from the Aviation / Tourism Sector and held the role of Sales Manager for a Global Carrier. She questioned lockdowns from the start and although accused of choosing lives over livelihoods, believed that neither could be separated. She has had first-hand experience of how the lockdowns have absolutely decimated the Aviation and Tourism sector and has been directly impacted by the lasting effects of lockdowns in her own career as well as witnessing the devastation of the lives of her industry colleagues.
Carey joined PANDA as she resists the current narrative and will not accept that there is anything normal regarding the current protocols placed on children. Being a mom makes this even more critical.

Roy joined PANDA because he believes the world’s public health response to SARS-CoV-2 to be the greatest iatrogenic catastrophe in modern history. He sees that a false and one-sided narrative around Covid-19 has taken root and is pervading society and that medical science, with the help of the mainstream media, is complicit in this propaganda and fear-mongering.

Gabriel Brunner 🇦🇹
LANGUAGE PROFESSIONAL

Sankha joined PANDA as he developed an interest in infections of the elderly with the advent of the COVID crisis. On multiple occasions, he had witnessed viral epidemics in the elderly. Morbidity and mortality were high, but causal agents were never identified, leading him to wonder why there needed to be a differential response to COVID-19 from the usual management of epidemics. He is also concerned about the collateral damage to elderly health care.

Todd Hayen 🇨🇦
RESEARCH WRITER
Todd is a practicing Jungian psychotherapist in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. He is a researcher and writer focusing on topics in psychology, ancient Egyptian Khemitology, humanity, and spirituality.
Todd joined Panda because he believes that to be fully human we must have one foot in a non-material realm where we find meaning, purpose, love, and connection with the world around us. The other foot in the pursuit of truth and understanding of the physical world we live in—science. PANDA is the perfect place to find both.

Cherry Hughes 🇬🇧
ADVANCED CLINICAL PRACTITIONER
Cherry trained as a nurse. Over the last 30 years, she has worked for the NHS and strived to increase her knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice. Seeing the negation of established knowledge of viral pathogenesis by otherwise intelligent colleagues has saddened her. Ivan joined PANDA because world responses to the COVID-19 epidemic violate all historical precedents and Public Health principles known for more than a century. The result has been a distortion of the real magnitude of the health problem, an inappropriate focus on COVID-19 as if it was the only relevant health problem in the world, and the causation of much harm to the world population. He hopes PANDA will be an organization capable of producing change in the present situation.

Manigreeva Krishnatreya 🇮🇳
MEDICAL DOCTOR

Dr Krishnatreya began working in rural India treating TB and other infectious diseases. Since March, he has opposed lockdowns and advocated Vitamin D supplements for vulnerable patients. He has a deep interest in immunology and believes that T-Cell mediated immunity is key to beating Covid-19.
Manigreeva joined PANDA as he is deeply worried about the catastrophic consequences of lockdowns, the disruption to cancer screening and treatment, the devastating consequences of chronic diseases and the decline in vaccinations for children in developing countries. He believes that lockdowns play no part in either preventing the spread of Covid-19 or lowering mortality.

Emma joined PANDA in November 2020 to voice concerns about the ongoing impact of lockdown policies on societies’ most disadvantaged, as well as upon the wellbeing of our young people. She believes ‘being alive’ is about more than biology, and that policies must incorporate the psychosocial and spiritual welfare of all citizens.

Carol joined PANDA to find a group of open-minded scientists who share a moral responsibility to speak the truth about the COVID-19 virus and intelligently question its current governmental public health response plan. As a drug safety specialist, Carol is especially concerned with what she sees as a premature deployment of the still experimental COVID-19 vaccines, worsened by the lack of cohesive and complete safety data reported during these ongoing trials conducted on the public under an Investigational New Drug (IND) Application.
