Born in Johannesburg on 4 August 1981, Ryan Vorster has always had a passion for the arts and being creative. From the age of 9 he was an avid Latin American and Ballroom dancer, with a number of titles under his belt. At age 18 he had a Top 5 hit with a song called “There’s Only U” ft the Sonic Divas, which went on to be nominated for a SAMA.
The past 22 years has been spent building his career as an MIS analyst and People Analytics Specialist, while achieving both his BCom Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Technology Management. His biggest passion, however, has always been visual representation, whether it be graphic design, photography or data visualisation.
Thus, during the summer month of September 2022, Ryan decided to flex his entrepreneurial muscle and launch Konix Labs, focusing on conceptual and creative services for StartUps and SMEs. Konix Labs consists of 3 labs currently, namely; Brand Design, Photography and Web Design, with expansion into Social Media Marketing and Data Visualisation, which will follow soon.
Konix Labs has provided service to Niku Underwear, Bar Harness, Catharina Elizabeth Design, and Talligence Talent Acquisition Specialists, with two projects, Werewolf Supplements and Touch of Africa Jewellery currently in progress.
If he is not focusing on his company, Ryan can be found at the gym, or in the ocean, surfing.
