Dancing with the Stars hunk Gilles Rocca opens up about his sexuality

Gilles Rocca is speaking his truth. The 42-year-old hunk has starred in a slew of films and TV shows in his native Italy.

Among Rocca’s credits are the series Don MatteoI Cesaroni, and Nero a metà, as well as films like Metamorfosi and L’ultima sfida.

He’s also dabbled in reality TV having been a contestant on L’Isola dei Famosi (an Italian celebrity version of Survivor), and in 2020 was crowned winner of Ballando con le Stelle (Dancing with the Stars Italy).

Along with his smooth moves on the dance floor, Rocca is pretty easy on the eyes.

Hello, Gilles!

In a new interview, Rocca got very candid about developing his feminine side based on the strong women that reared him.

“The alpha male? I almost feel more like a woman than a man. I have a predominantly feminine side. Yes, my aesthetic is very masculine, but inside it’s different,” Rocca said on the Italian TV show Ciao Maschio, according to the outlet Biccy. “Perhaps having had a very strong upbringing from my mother, I learned a lot.”

He added: “My mother’s upbringing made me understand how important it is to bring out my feminine side. I was very male up to a certain point in my life, where I didn’t show my weaknesses, where I wanted to show that I was the muscular one, the strong one, but in reality I was hiding so many weaknesses that over the years I’ve managed to bring out, not fight them, but embrace them.”

An apparently straight adult man that isn’t afraid to be vulnerable? Put Rocca in the Louvre!

No really.
